Nein, wie süß! Labrador-Hündin Zola hat in Großbritannienvor kurzem zehn kleine Welpen zur Welt gebracht, wie die Nachrichtenagentur SWNS berichtet. Das Besondere an den kleinen Fellnasen: Sie haben unterschiedliche Farben. Nebst dem schwarzen Fell von Mama Zola gibt es auch Welpen mit braunem und hellen Fell. Eine Seltenheit in der Hundezucht.

Was lange währt, wird endlich gut

Ein bunter Labrador-Wurf, in dem alle drei Farben vorkommen, ist sehr selten. Zolas Halter, Tina und Martin Davis, begannen ihr Zuchtprogramm 2006 mit einer braunen Hündin und kreuzten bewusst die DNA von hellen, braunen und schwarzen Labradoren. Jetzt, nach 15 Jahren, kann das Züchterpaar aus Horsham, West Sussex, sich endlich über seinen ersten bunten Wurf zerknautschter Labrador-Welpen freuen. (jbü)
