Paparazzi erwischten Prinz Harry und Herzogin Meghan jetzt auf dem Weg zum Anwesen von Oprah Winfrey im kalifornischen Montecito. Könnte natürlich nur ein netter Besuch auf einen Kaffee unter Nachbarn gewesen sein.

Meghan was pregnant with their daughter at the time. Viewers were plugged into the special worldwide and early ratings showed it pulled in 17.1 million viewers. The couple dropped some incredible bombshells during the two-hour primetime interview including that the couple had actually married three days before their May 19, 2018 wedding. Meghan also reveled that it was Kate who had made her cry not the other way around. The former Suits star revealed Kate made her cry, a few days before the wedding over something to do with the bridesmaids dresses. The couple also reveled that their son Archie was not offered a royal title or security. Perhaps most shocking of all however was the couple?s revelation that one royal family member had expressed concerns over how dark the color of Archie?s skin would be. Given the huge success of the original special and everything that the couple has been through since the airing, are they planning another tell all with the media mogul? Doch die Gerüchteküche brodelt, denn die Sussexes haben offenbar durchaus weiteren Redebedarf. Prinz Harry hatte sich nach dem Oprah-Interview noch in diversen US-Podcasts über die königliche Familie ausgelassen und vor allem an seinem Vater, Prinz Charles (73), kein gutes Haar gelassen.

Auch ihre Rückkehr nach Großbritannien zum 70. Thronjubiläum der Queen hatten sich Meghan und Harry vermutlich anders vorgestellt. Nur bei einem offiziellen Termin waren sie erwünscht – und dieser wurde in der britischen Presse zerrissen. Auch das erste Kennenlernen der Queen und Ur-Enkelin Lilibet (1) verlief vermutlich nicht ganz nach ihrem Plan, denn die 96-jährige Monarchin wollte keine Fotos davon veröffentlichen.

Noch ist das zweite Interview mit Oprah Winfrey nicht bestätigt. Aber spätestens nach ihrem Abstecher nach England sind Harry und Meghan die Themen dafür sicher nicht ausgegangen. (csp)
