Ein halbes Jahr nach dem Tod von Amy Winehouse gibt es jetzt Zweifel an der Rechtmäßigkeit der Obduktionsergebnisse. Der Grund: Die stellvertretende Gerichtsmedizinerin Suzanne Greenway, die mit der Obduktion des Leichnams betraut war, soll nicht die notwendigen Qualifikationen gehabt haben, wie die britische 'Sun' berichtet. Amys Vater Mitch zeigte sich im Interview mit dem Blatt "schockiert". Eine neue Untersuchung der toxikologischen Befunde könnte nun die Folge sein.

"Wir hoffen, dass die Angelegenheit schnell geklärt werden kann", so Mitch Winehouse. Es sei sehr "aufwühlend", das alles nochmal durchzumachen. Ob der neue Gerichtsmediziner allerdings zu einem anderen Ergebnis kommen wird, bleibt abzuwarten. Offiziell ist Amy Winehouse an einer Alkoholvergiftung gestorben. Die Richtigkeit dieses Ergebnisses steht für Amys Vater nach wie vor "außer Zweifel".

"It (the butterfly) landed on Kelly Osbourne's shoulder, then flew around me... Have you ever heard anything like that in your life? It's incredible. Has anybody ever seen that?" The singer was 27. A full inquest into the cause of her death is due to begin next month (Oct11). Für die Obduktion der am 23. Juli 2011 verstorbenen Sängerin hatte der eigentlich zuständige Gerichtsmediziner Dr. Andrew Scott Reid seine Frau Suzanne Greenway eingeteilt. Durch deren nicht ausreichende Qualifikationen dürfte das derzeitige amtliche Endergebnis nun nicht mehr rechtsgültig sein.

Amy Winehouse wurde am 26. Juli 2011, drei Tage nach ihrem Tod, im 'Golders Green Crematorium' im Norden Londons eingeäschert. Ihre Asche soll mit der ihrer geliebten Oma Cynthia vermischt worden sein.
