Man goes viral after baking sister ‘magical’ wedding cake laced with marijuana – leaving guests high as kites
A man has gone viral on TikTok after baking a wedding cake for his sister laced with marijuana – leaving guests high as kites.
Alvaro Rodriguez, 29, from Santiago, Chile, laced one of the seven tiers with cannabis – which is legal for private-at-home consumption – at his sister's big day last month.
He spent 20 hours making and decorating the showpiece before dropping it off at the party venue.
The video, which has racked up over 13 million views on TikTok, shows the bride and groom cutting into the traditional-looking cake to cheers from 100 guests.
Footage then cuts to 20 of the 100 wedding guests dancing merrily and laughing as the effects kick in.
The bride requested the fun cake after having a pleasant experience with “magical brownies”.
Alvaro uploaded a video showing the aftermath to TikTok, which racked up 13 million views and nearly two million likes, leaving viewers in stitches.
One person said: "I'm definitely doing this on my wedding !!"
Another viewer wrote: "Hahahaha everyone flew literally haha."
"HAHAHA this is the best video I've ever seen,” said another fan.
Others were left confused by the meaning of "magical cake" with one social media commenting: "I thought by magical he meant that it had glitter or something."
Some people even changed their attitudes to marriage after watching the video.
One user said: "Ok, I didn't want to get married, but I see this, and I want to get married, then divorce, but already happy with my magical wedding cake jsjsj." [sic]
"It was good fun,” Alvaro told Jam Press.
